Welcome to the John Howard Society of Peterborough
Who we are
Since 1957, the John Howard Society of Peterborough has been working to make our community safer by providing support and services to individuals in conflict or at risk of becoming in conflict with the law, their families, and the victims of crime.
We work with men, women, youth and families throughout Peterborough City and County to help them reduce the incidence of criminal behaviour through support, counselling, courses and programs and to better understand and cope with the criminal justice system.
What we have to offer
At the John Howard Society of Peterborough, we offer the following services:
- Ongoing Programs for Adults and Youth
- One-to-one and Group Counselling
- Wrap-Around Services
- Referrals to Other Community Partner Organizations
- Community Education & Advocacy
